Head Teacher of Four-Year Old Class
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant College and is in the final stages of completing her Pre-K certification. She brings over twenty years of experience working with early childhood students at Smoke Rise Nursery School. In addition to her teaching role, Michelle has been an active part of the school community as both a parent and a former member of the Smoke Rise Nursery School Executive Board, where she served as Treasurer. She is also part of the coaching staff at Kinnelon High School for girls volleyball and girls lacrosse. Her deep connection to the school and passion for early childhood education are reflected in her warm, supportive approach to teaching and her commitment to fostering a nurturing learning environment.

Jennifer is the Head Teacher of the Three-Year-Old Class and has been a dedicated member of SRNS for 13 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Special Needs Education from Boston College and a Master’s degree in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University.

Jennifer is the Head Teacher of the Three-Year-Old Class and has been a dedicated member of SRNS for 13 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Special Needs Education from Boston College and a Master’s degree in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University.
Before joining SRNS, Jennifer spent more than eight years teaching in the Pompton Lakes School District, where she taught kindergarten, first grade, second grade, basic skills math, and worked in the resource room. She also served as an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall University for two years, teaching the course Diverse Learners & Their Families.
Jennifer is not only an educator but also a proud parent of three SRNS children graduates!

Kristen is also a proud mother of two boys and a former Smoke Rise Nursery School parent, bringing both professional expertise and a personal connection to early childhood education.
